My experience includes being a mother, teacher, educator and counsellor/psychotherapist working with people of all ages. Working for 21 years as an early childhood teacher in the Yarra Valley area; and as a supervisor of teacher trainees, was very rewarding and a fulfilling time which led into a change of career in the early 1990's, to become a counsellor/psychotherapist.
For several years I worked at the Melbourne Therapy Centre and at the Clayton Whole Health Medical Clinic, as well as in private practice in the Yarra Valley.
Alongside counselling, there were several years working as a college coordinator, teacher and supervisor of trainee counsellors, in the Advanced Diploma training courses at Persephone College in Melbourne; as well as doing contract teaching and casual work in a number of welfare organisations.
Being a mother of three grown up children brings me since 2003 into a new and wonderful life of also being a grandmother of four amazing grandchildren.
